At Mohawk Bay you are adjacent to the 17,000 acre Native Reserve home to the Tyendinaga Band of Mohawks with a great variety of Native crafts, products and services.

You are also in United Empire Loyalist territory, with villages and towns full of history, grand old houses and scenic beauty - an antique shopper's paradise.

From the park, just over the bridge at Deseronto, is Prince Edward County with over 42 Wineries including the famous Huff Esates Winery & Inn (live entertainment on weekends in the summer). The town of Picton is only 22 km (14 miles) away.

The City of Kingston, gateway to the beautiful 1000 Islands with its boat tours, and site of the citadel of Upper Canada, Old Fort Henry, is only 37 km (24 miles) away.
